02/17/2011 Livermore Fire responds Mutual Aid to Jay

Units responded to 24 Jewel street in Jay to a fully involved structure fire.  Upon arrival crews found heavy fire and smoke on the second and third floors.  Engine 1 and Engine 2 responded.  Livermore units were cleared after three hours.

Mutual Aid Supper 2010 honored our former Chiefs.  We had the priveledge to have all our living past Chiefs here for our mutual aid supper.  A moment of silence was given to honor the two Chiefs that have passed on Chief Lewis Berry (1947-1964) and Chief Theadore Berry (1964-1970) as well as other members that have passed.  We recognized all the members that were present at the meeting that have served on our department.  We thank all those that have served prior to us.  You have all made the department what it is today.  Thank you to Gary Crocker for providing the nights entertainment.  It was a wicked good time.  Ayuh!
